Londonis toimusid 24. «Golden Joystick» (Kuldne juhtkang) nime kandvad aasta parimate mängude valimise pidustused. Üldvõitjaks - «Ultimate Game of the Year Award» - kuulutati firma Bethesda Softworks rollimäng «The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion».

«Golden Joystick» on Ühendkuningriikides üheks hinnatuimaks auhinnaks mängule ning seda jagati sel aastal kuueteistkümnes kategoorias, kirjutab BBC News.

Mängutootja Rockstar kuulus «Grand Theft Auto» (GTA) sai sel aastal võidu PSP-versioonis pihuarvutite klassis ning kindlustas GTA-seeriale koha võitjate seas juba viiendat aastat järjest.
